I regularly come purchasing some food in this spot. I love the speedy service and well prepared food. 5 stars.

Colombian food you definitely get your moneys worth. This location is usually always busy. Small parking lot but if you are lucky you get a spot. Lots of seating available staff always friendly. Big menu to chose from seafood or traditional Colombian staple items. Even for carry out you get a a huge serving prices slightly more than your average cost in queens but not going to break the bank.

Good food, Nice Staff and a well put together ambience.

Delicious food, well priced. Friendly service. Our only qualm was with the beverages, I had a blueberry mojito but all I could taste was the lime rinds inside and my grandparents also found their lemonade too sour. But my aunt had the pina colada and really enjoyed it. Overall lovely experience and will be returning soon.

It was very good. Food was good and tasty. Service was fast. Only thing was the tap water was bad.

They serve big portions and for affordable prices. very nice owner. They never disappoint.

Colombian food at its best on Long Island. Great and delicious stakes, chicken, fish, rice and beans, soups, salads. Excellent service. Frequented by couples and families. Beautiful and airy stand alone with parking building.

Homophobic waitress! I used to eat at this restaurant frequently with my boyfriend. Their food is really great and their other staff were very polite! However, one day we were being served by a waitress who didn't greet us, was already walking away as we were still ordering, and really just didn't want to look at us. She was angry and I don't think she wanted to serve us because at the end of everything we had to ask other staff for help. I compared her service to a family sitting near to us where she was politely serving them, asking them if everything was all right. But with us she just had a nasty vibe. This was the first time that I never left a tip at a restaurant, I just wanted to leave. This is also my first time writing a review for anything as well. I want to let people know BEWARE of Luz Maria. I would love to go back but my last visit was not pleasant.

The waiter was very attentive as well and the food came in a decent timing. I look forward to bringing many other people here.

Love it!! My husband's family only eats seafood and they have a great variety and very fresh seafood. Also the decorations in the outside are very fun.

I celebrated my birthday today in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a sensational evening and the restaurant was unquestionably the reason for that happy meeting. The team contributed in a pleasant way, the cuisine was great and my friends were very overjoyed. We shall definitely visit again for more events. thanks very much.

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened ..as all things the priced have raised about 35% over time and the service has wained due to a high turnover rate staff wise ..but there are a few faces that have been there since the beginning..as an african patron I've had my share of rude servers that spoke little to no english and made me feel as if i shouldn't have been there ..but over all i come for the food and the top top notch Sangria ..(cheaper by the pitcher btw) ..much respect for the owner ..real down to earth guy ! So please go ..eat enjoy and return .

I have been enjoying their food for years.I love the shrimp& lobster tails in Dianne sauce..Always fresh & delicious.

So me and my wife were driving around heampstead looking for something to eat when we saw this big beautiful restaurant we love new things so we went in to try it the server was ok he wasn’t really bad but not nice either the food took a very long time I ordered white rice beans and chicken my wife ordered same but with steak and shrimp the flavor was not there at all it seemed like both meals had the same sauce on it it was just flavorless the server never came back to ask if we were ok.

My family and I have been going to Pollos Mario Steak House & Seafood for many years. However, recently we ordered food for takeout and the experience was not quite memorable than before. The prices of the food increased. Unfortunately, when we received the food it was cold and the flavor was not the same in a disappointing way.

Excellent food and generously wonderful staff. I really enjoy coming here to eat. Food is always inexpensive and absolutely delicious. The service here is top quality and it arrives fast.

The food is amazing here! If you are in the Hempstead NY area and want GREAT food this is the place to go. There is a parking lot and easy to get to by public transportation.

Great Latin food variety available here. They cater very well to large parties/families. Our party's orders ran the gamut of seafood/steak/poultry and salads. Everyone from our youngest to our adults enjoyed the food and drinks. The skirt steak was tasty and chicken was juicy and flavorful. Prices are reasonable for the entree portions provided.

Large portions, delicious and flavorful menu choices. Nice retro ambiance. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. This is my go-to spot for a good meal anytime that never disappoints....the cheesecake was rather crumbly and hard. I usually get the flan but opted for the cheesecake instead. I never ate there. Had uber eats. Food quality was very poor. Paid for a seafood plate for 2 for $40. It was 90% rice.The pollo was dry and most likely microwaved

I was bother with the way my food was prepare at this Pollos Mario Colombian Restaurant location in Hempstead NY. I ordered a bandeja paisa, chicken empanadas, chicharrón and arepa con queso y mantequilla. It did not taste in anyway the way it usually does. The beans were flavorless, the bandeja paisa was serve cold and it was though to chew the steak and chicharrón. The chicken empanadas had to many vegetables in it. This restaurant does not have authentic Colombian flavors. Overall it was great, great disappointment. I expected better.

This site is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. when I I need a delicious meal, this restaurant comes immediately to my head. superb and food and a rich menu.courteous crew, and great vibes. And very important, the expence is reasonable. I praise this restaurant with no doubt.

This is a little complicated to write about hope you understand Food good place clean only the attitude of the workers when I enter a restaurant I expect to be welcome not yo be questioned (Their exact words WHAT YOU WANT)They hire too many busboys that you feel they want you out fast (you are not finnishand they want to take your plate) Well overall this was my experience.

Fantastic and fresh food, I loved the ambience the spot has, and the employees were super nice. I will definitely eat here again.
